Membership Manager - Modern Synagogue
Location: New York City, NY 10022
Special Projects & CRM Manager (Member Relations) for an ultra-modern, cutting edge historical midtown Manhattan synagogue involved in many grassroots social and philanthropic initiatives. They are proud of their onsite homeless shelter, their early childhood center, and their many programs to support Israel.
In this crucial role, you will help support the organization's membership retention, engagement, and fundraising efforts by working with the Membership Department and others by providing excellent customer service to the synagogue's congregants. You will be involved in the implementation and administration of the Salesforce CRM, manage all board and executive meetings, and address inquiries pertaining to special events and more. You will also manage membership applications and profiles.
You should have: *strong client/public facing customer service experience. *A commitment to advancing Jewish life. *Knowledge of Salesforce or other related CRMs. *Excellent verbal and written communications. *A strong desire to learn and move forward.
